ICT Association of Zambia – ICTAZ
The Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ) is an association established by an Act of parliament and it is responsible for registration of ICT professionals and regulate their professional conduct in the interest of the Information and Communications technology sector and providing for matters connected with the use of ICT in Zambia. It has been in Existence for many years, and has bee functioning and participating in some few activities. However, the association together with the Ministry of Transport and communication and other stakeholders worked tirelessly to ensure that its Bill is passed in parliament and become law, as it is the case now. The Association admits members in various professional categories namely Fellow, Full Member, Associate, Affiliate, Student as well as Corporate Membership. This is done through a proof of certain qualifications as stated in the Association’s membership guideline document.
